St. Patrick's Day is an enchanted time - a day to begin transforming winter's dreams into summer's magic. ~Adrienne Cook
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.
~Irish Blessing

May you be in
Heaven a half hour before the
Devil knows you're dead!
Heaven a half hour before the
Devil knows you're dead!
Dance as if no one were watching,
Sing as if no one were listening,
And live every day as if it were your last.
Sing as if no one were listening,
And live every day as if it were your last.

Sweden does not celebrate St Patrick's. Until I saw this theme coming up here, I've been under the impression that this was an exclusively Irish holiday!
ReplyDeleteunless in Rio (which I wont be) I won't run across any St Pats day. maybe I will just do GREEN - those of you just finishing winter may have an issue, but I live in a forest..... I will look for those little men in hats. hum...
ReplyDeleteWe do not celebrate St Patrick day here except maybe for the American expatriates . Let me see if I can find something else that match the theme of parades, parties, events.
ReplyDeleteif St. Patrick's Day is not celebrated, show us what is green in your town Jama and Monica. no problem!
